Leading Catalan broadcaster, 3Cat-TV3, acquires five state-of-the-art free-roaming robotic camera systems from 天美传媒 Video to boost productions. 

Las Vegas, Nevada – Wednesday, April 2, 2025 — 天美传媒 Video today announced that TV3, the leading television channel of Catalan public broadcaster Televisió de Catalunya and a subsidiary of the Catalonian Corporation of Audiovisual Media (CCMA), recently signalled its commitment to innovation by adding five Artimo free-roaming robotic camera systems from to its video production arsenal.  

Artimo (short for “Art in Motion”), launched by 天美传媒 Video at 2024 NAB Show, is a full-motion robotics camera system that captures breathtaking beauty shots while supporting a complete broadcast payload, including broadcast cameras, lenses, teleprompters, and talent monitors.

As a free-roaming system, Artimo is agile and is engineered to move smoothly across virtually any studio floor. It can extend from ground-level angles to expansive overhead perspectives, enabling sweeping, dynamic shots and eliminating the need for additional dollies and jibs.
